Very hard to find genuine Kriegsmarine stamped K98 ammo pouch in brown color. The black dots you see, is simply paint to avoid the metal parts from rusting and was a period thing done in the factory. From my personal collection: Very hard to find, excellent set of unworn leather K98 ammo pouches. Complete with spacers inside. Both maker marked with Leintert & Co. Leslau (occupied Poland, today know as Włocławek), dated 1943.

Well used K98 cleaning kit. Missing all tools but the oil pump. Maker marked by cnx (=Gustav Appel, Maschinenfabrik) not dated but presumably made in 1944.
Late war MG ammo box in steel. Fabric applied tan colored coating, as all late war equipment. Marked on the side ‘Patr. Kasten.’ dated 1944 (I deem). A beautiful case!
