One of the rarest ‘BeVo’ flat woven birds out there! Gold flatwire cap eagle for army general or Küstenartillerie officer and/or general. Eagle remains in very good condition and shows nice and deep gold colors. Could be worn on an overseas cap and M43 cap.
Standard M38 pattern flat woven BeVo-Weave (From the BeVo-Wuppertal cloth factory) cap eagle. Navy blue example, issued in 1938. To be worn on a Kriegsmarine overseas cap.
I recently found a lot of identical and actually not that easily found examples of Kriegsmarine tropical (Afrikakorps) eagle-‘pith-helmet’-shields (Adlerschild für Tropenhelm), being all neatly marked on the reverse with ‘G.B.-41’ (Gustav Brehmer 1941). Comes in a very nice, never pith-helmet-attached, virtually mint, condition. The shields retain their original (three) never bent prongs in place…
