Worn and removed from a cap M40 eagle. Flat woven standard M40 ‘BeVo’ made army T-shaped eagle. Was first intended to use for a gebirgsjäger mountain cap. After that, these where often encountered on M42 caps and even later these stocks were finished on M43 caps, folding them in a trapezoid just like this example.
