Army (Heer) infantry officer visor cap

Description

Mid-war constructed army visor cap, having beautiful white piping for a member of the German infantry. Complete with period hand applied silver bullion national insignia on the front, the stiches of the swastika are loose, as it was folded underneath during captivity. The cap holds a nice saddle shape, and besides some mothing in the rear, it is void of damages. Liner is complete and shows minimal wear. No visible maker marks, but looks like a Clemens Wagner made cap to me. Size +-56 (altough the tag only suggest 53 1/2 it is a lot bigger than that). An honest officer cap!
