Army (Heer) signals ‘Gebirgs-Nachrichten’ officer visor cap by Erel

Very attractive and mid war constructed army visor cap with lemon yellow piping for an officer of a Gebirgs-Nachrichten-Abteilung (Mountain trooper signals). This is actually a very rare branch color amoungst visor caps. The cap shows minimal wear and it still retains its genuine saddle shape. There are no visible damages. The cap is complete with its original insignia attached on the front of the cap. The liner shows minimal wear and the celluloid sweat shield remain intact. It is maker marked by Erel and says; Offizier Kleiderklasse Berlin – Erel Sonderklasse – Extra. The leather sweatband is complete and also marked by Erel and still holds the original silver lettering, that in many cases would be worn off once the visor was actually worn. This visor remains unworn in my opinion. It still has the original paper inside, behind the sweatband. A very nice and well preserved Gebirgs-Nachrichten visor by Erel.
