Army (Heer) steel belt buckle by H. Arld 1942 ‘pig skin tab’

Description

Very nice untouched and ‘as found’ army belt buckle. The buckle is a mid war steel constructed example with leather tongue intact. interesting to see the tab is exextued in pig skin leather. The buckle itself is maker marked ‘H.A. 42’ and so matches the partially faded maker mark on the leather tab: H. Arld Nuernberg dated 1942.
