Early army Heeresverwaltung officer crusher cap ‘knautschmütze’

Genuine early constructed ca. 1940 army crusher cap for an administration officer with dark green piping. Beautiful example with hand applied early insignia up front. Shows minimal wear and remains void of damages. Liner is in good condition, but maker mark on the sweat diamond is gone. Complete with artificial leather sweatband (feels stiff) and leather visor bill (also hard and stiff). A very nice crusher cap, in very good condition!
