German Cross in silver by ’20’ C.F. Zimmermann named

Genuine and iconic German Cross in Silver (Deutsches Kreuz in Silber). Light worn piece with beautiful patina. Maker marked on the reverse of the pin with PKZ number 20 (C.F. Zimmermann – Pforzheim). The catch is a little bent so I can’t open the pin and show the ’20’ maker mark, but it is there! Enameled surface of the swastika remains in worn condition and shows normal wear to the enamel. Grey colored wreath shows normal wear and still lots of its genuine finish intact, showing the brass underneath. Rivets on the back remain tight and untouched. Written on the back; Braunschweig, Forststr. 61, Wilzmann Rolf, Verl. am 25.8.1944. A beautiful and textbook ‘Deutsches Kreuz in Silber’! An investment piece for sure!
