KIA M38 Luftwaffe single decal paratrooper ‘Fallschirmjäger’ helmet ET68

Description

Worn M38 pattern paratrooper steel helmet. Original green coating is present. The decal is present and shows similar aging with the rest of the helmet. The helmet is complete with an all original liner that shows heavy wear. The leather is still supple and strong, complete with its rubber paddings. The chin straps are still partially present. The bolts are replacements and in my opinion not good, but keep the liner and straps in place. The shell is marked on the side by ET, size 68 and has the lot number 842. The helmet show a KIA bullet hole on top, hence maybe the condition of the liner is so bad. Helmet still displays great on a shelf or mannequin. Hard to find para helmet.
