Kriegsmarine female ‘Marinehelferin’ lapel-pin

Description

This is an attractive and actually quite scarcely seen Kriegsmarine so-called: ‘Dienstbrosche der Marinehelferinnen’ (or specific lapel-pin for female naval signal-staff) being an unmarked specimen that comes in an overall very nice condition. The badge is executed in molded zinc (Feinzink) and still retains most of its darker-blue coloured paint (it just shows some minimal usage and wear-marks). It is void of makers markings (as usual). The badge has a functional and original pin catch set-up. A rarely seen female-related KM-badge! The diameter of this badge is 3cm, and therefor much larger than an regular KM button. I have put an Iron Cross next to it, so you have an idea what the size is (The cross is not part of this sale!).
