M34 army (Heer) ‘Afrikakorps’ tropical overseas cap for Nebeltruppen by Clemens Wagner 1942

Description

Unissued and MINT tropical overseas cap in excellent condition, void of damages. Original factory applied national insignia up front, cocarde surrounded by a machine applied purple piping for Nebelwerfer – Nebeltruppen (Smoke Troops). It is the very first time I encounter a DAK cap with this rarely seen branch color. Red cotton liner shows no wear and is neatly marked; Clemens Wagner, Braunschweig – Hamburg, dated MAI 42 (May 1942), Size: 57. Textbook cap in excellent condition!
