M35 army (Heer) double decal helmet NS66 1937

Description

Out of the woodwork in Germany, never been in a collection before; Textbook apple green M35 double decal helmet by NS. Decals remain both in excellent condition, only showing light wear. Inside of the helmet shows some storage rust and dust. Comes with an early single band aluminum liner, dated 1937. Leather is complete but leather feels dry, one tongue is broken. Complete with period replaced draw string. The full length chin strap is present, but the buckle part is broken, maker marked and dated 1937. Split pins remain tight and untouched.  Nothing more to add, just a stunning piece! Shell markings: NS66 – E103 (I deem).
