M35 army (Heer) double decal steel helmet ET66 named to ‘Nagel’

Nice M35 double decal helmet in the classic ‘apple-green’ color. Retaining its original eagle decal for over 95% showing crips details. The tricolor shield was removed in 1940 per regulations and a collector added a replica shield on the helmet after the war. Early example, still having a single band aluminum liner installed that is dated 1937. The leather feels is still strong and supple for its age. Split pins remain tight and unmessed with. Maker marked on the side by ET, size 66. Lotnumber 3468. Named in the rear of the shell to ‘Nagel’. Beautiful ‘Apple Green’ M35 helmet!
