M35 army (Heer) reissued single decal steel helmet ET62

Description

Beautiful M35 steel helmet, reissued example ca. 1941 in ‘as found’ condition. This helmet, was factory reissued in the beginning of the war, receiving a new thick rough field green layer of paint and a new decal. The army decal shows sharp details and is nearly 90% intact. The helmet is complete with its original installed liner. The split pins are tight and remain unmessed with. The leather itself is supple and strong but is damaged in the front. Original draw string in place. The chin strap is original but period shortened. Markings on the shell are not visible because of the thick re-issue paint but I assume this an ET62. Beautiful army steel helmet!
