M35 army (Heer) single decal reissue steel helmet SE68 named

Description

Excellent light worn M35 pattern army helmet. Started its life in apple green color with double decals and was later factory reissued receiving a rough applied layer of field green paint, a new decal and liner. The helmet shows overall nice combat wear and the decal rates well over 80%. The split pins remain straight and untouched and show nice dust and patina. The leather itself is supple and well retained. The original full lenght draw string is still present. Has a dome stamp telling the size of the liner ’60’, which is something I have observed in the past with reissued helmets. Named on the liner and in the rear of the helmet to Obergefreiter Marx. Maker marked by SE large size 68 (SE68), lot number 3511. Very honest army (Heer) combat helmet!
