M35 Polizei double decal steel helmet NS64 1938

Description

Beautiful light worn M35 pattern Police helmet. Recently found on an attic in The Netherlands. Double decal example with both decals over intact, but the police shield show some damage. Early 1938 dated liner is complete, leather is strong and supple. The draw string is still present, as well is the chinstrap, that is maker marked DLWP ( Deutsche Lederwerk Stätte ) located in Pirmasensand and shows a faded date underneath. Maker marked by NS size 64. Lot number D145. Split pins show tempering, most likely taken out a long time ago. Dome stamp visible and dated 1938 just like the liner. Very honest early Polizei combat helmet!
