M40 ‘beaded’ Luftschutz steel helmet Q64

Description

Very nice beaded M40 helmet with a rim (‘Beaded’) for a member of the German air-raid protection (Luftschutz). The helmet still retains a nearly complete decal up front, that shows nice details and patina. The helmet is complete with its liner, draw string and full length chin strap. Maker marked on the side by Quist, size 64 (Q64). Lot number hard to read. The helmet was in my opinion never issued and comes directly from the attic in Germany last week, hence the dirt and spiders remain inside. A beautiful untouched LS helmet!
