M40 Luftwaffe ‘Normandy’ camouflage helmet SE64

Description

Stunning, light worn M40 Luftwaffe helmet in good condition. Started as a blue colored single decal example in 1940. Afterwards spray painted in three tone ‘Normandy’ colors (Tan, Brown, Green) covering the Luftwaffe eagle decal. Liner remains in good condition and is complete with full length chin strap. The draw string is a period replacement. The chin strap is maker marked with a RBNr (0/0050/0302). The buckle part is damaged and torn (update: is broken now). Maker marked by SE size 64, lotnumber 10029.
