Description

Beautiful light worn mid-war produced M40 pattern steel helmet by hkp. The helmet was camouflaged in tropical (Afrika/mediterranean) tan camouflage paint, covering the Luftwaffe decal. The ghost of the decal remains visible under the paint. Complete with original installen liner, the split pins remain untouched. Steel liner band is dated 1942 and matches with the ‘hkp’ marked shell. The leather is soft and shows normal wear. Complete with draw string and chin strap.
