M40 pattern Waffen-SS combat helmet. Single decal example having Quist-style SS runes, that matches the maker and lot number of this helmet. The helmet is nicely worn and shows nice ageing and patina. The decal is still firmly present and shows nice wear. Complete with original liner, having a rarely seen 1941 dated aluminum liner band! The leather remains soft and strong. Complete with draw string and full lenght (damaged) chin strap. Maker marked by Q size 64.
