M43 Army (Heer) officer field cap for mountain trooper ‘Gebirgsjäger’

Description

Light worn standard officer M43 pattern field cap. Shows light wear and remains void of damages. Complete with original applied Edelweiss cap badge on the side for a Gebirgsjäger officer. The national insignia on the front of the cap is an original trapizoid shape BeVo insignia, most likely restored to the cap with hand sewing. The interior is complete with the sweat band. Markings are faded.
