M43 Kriegsmarine coastal artillery field cap Marine Artillerie Abteilung 204 ‘Ostend – Belgium’

Extremely nice and excellent preserved Kriegsmarine coastal artillery M43 field cap. Having a Starfish (Seestern) insignia sewn on the side for Marine Artillerie Abteilung 204, that was located in Ostend (Belgium). Today this battery is a outdoor museum. Early constructed cap maker marked by Carl Halfar, showing typical KM construction. Size marked 58. Was part of my private collection for 10 years, but I decided to sell it as it is not my collecting area. I located the hat in Austria a long time ago.
