MINT Algemeine SS RZM visor cap ‘Tuchmütze’ 1937

Description

Stunning black Algemeine SS visor cap in unworn, MINT condition. Complete with original SS skull ‘Totenkopf’ and eagle on the front being an early pieces executed in Cupal and made by Overhoff in my opinion (RZM M1/24). The inside is complete with golden SS runes under the sweat diamond. The black label is complete and reads; Von Reichsführer SS befohlene Ausführung. The original price tag of 7.50 Reichmark is still present, as well is the filling paper in de edges of the cap. Under the sweat band a RZM label is visible showing the type of headgear ‘SS Tuchmütze’ and the maker mark 143. The reverse of the sweatband shows a few marks and a ’37 (1937) date stamp. A beautiful visor cap in excellent condition!
