RARE green colored M35 Luftwaffe single decal reissued helmet named to Flakhelfer Kaufmann Q64

Very unique and seldom encountered reissued M35 pattern helmet that received a factory repaint job in green color and a newly applied luftwaffe decal in ca. 1943 – helmet collectors will know this is a very rare combination! The helmet shows normal wear and is complete with its original liner. The liner is still the early type that came whith the M35 helmet when it was firstly issued, and it is dated 1935 on the linerband! Draw string and chin strap remain present, altough a small part of the tip of the strap has broken off. Leather itself is supple and strong. Interesting to see is the name in the rear of the helmet Lwh. (Luftwaffe Helper) Kaufmann. This helmet served for a young Hitlerjugend soldier, most likely protecting Germany from enemy planes. Maker marked shell by Q64 lot number remains hard to read!
