RARE Luftwaffe ‘Division Hermann Göring’ enlisted visor cap

Extremely rare, untouched and well preserved visor cap having white piping for all the different units serving under the name ‘Hermann Göring and/or General Göring’. The visor cap remains in light worn condition and still holds its beautiful saddle shape. The white piping surrounding the cap is bright and looks good. The cap is executed in quality ribbed cloth wool. Both aluminum insignia are present on the front of the cap, only the swastika has been removed per regulations in 1945. Of course this could be easily replaced with a new Luftwaffe eagle at the cost of roughly 70 euro. The grey silk liner remains in good condition and the celluloid sweat diamond is complete. It is maker marked by ‘Deutsche Wertarbeit’ in golden letters. The sweatband is complete and shows minimal wear. A very rare and stunning cap – as found in Germany a few weeks ago – attic fresh!
