RARE M35 SA-Feldherrnhalle double decal steel helmet Q62

Description

Extremely rare SA-Feldherrnhalle double decal helmet. The helmet is a genuine brown painted example, issued first for the SA, with SA decals (eagle and SA logo). Afterwards reissued for the SA-Feldherrnhalle with placing new decals on top. Both the eagle and SA logo remain visible under the current FHH decals. Both decals have been cleaned of patina. Complete with original liner, single band aluminum type, with press stamped size markings in the leather. Comes with the original chin strap, maker marked by Otto Jahnke and dated 1939. This is quite an uncommon seen helmet, as normally we see these FHH helmet reissued from Luftwaffe helmets. This one, reissued from a SA example is a first time for me to observe. Note that the dome is also painted brown, so the helmet must have been produced in brown paint. During the reissueing process the helmet received a new brown top layer covering the name in the rear, and shows traces of paint on the liner band, as one would aspect with a reissued helmet. Shell marked Q62 lot number 1802 (I deem!).
