Reissued short M31 gas mask canister with straps and bakelite button ca.1943

Description

A beautiful early produced short canister dated 1936 that was most likely reissued with a new top layer of paint in ca. 1943. The canister was equipped with a new pair of beautiful straps, having brown bakelite buttons. These straps only are worth a small fortune today. The gas mask is a standard type, dated 1939 and the filter is dated 1943. A very nice set in perfect condition!
