Silver Close Combat Clasp ‘Nahkampfspange’ by Friedrich Linden

Attractive and seldom seen Werhmacht/Waffen-SS CCC in silver (Close Combat Clasp – Nahkampfspange). Maker marked on the reverse by F.L.L (Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid). Zinc constructed badge with coke-bottle shaped pin back. The reverse also shows the designer’s name; FEC. W.E. PEECKHAUS, BERLIN. The backplate is missing. The front of the badge shows sharp details, and normal wear. A beautiful badge, with nice patina. Came straight from the family with two bronze clasps (see last picture – other clasps not included!).
