Description

Genuine and well-preserved alloy made Reichsbahn wagon eagle. Shows sharp details and has a very nice patina on the front. The back still has its dirty aluminum look. Shows broken studs and partial broken wing and nose from ripping it of a train wagon, as was done by US soldiers to bring it back as a souvenir. It is maker marked by PS. Furthermore, it is also marked on the reverse with WAGEN 720 (wagon 720mm long), much rarer than the often observed LOK 600 (locomotive 600mm long). It’s also marked GAL-Mg-Si and a bit lower with LOK RZA5 – BLN (I deem). Still remains uncleaned, has the original black/grey wagon paint on top and was recently found in USA.  Width: 72 cm. Rarely encounter railroad eagle, a must have as centerpiece for any WW2 collection!
