US WW2 M1 front seam fixed bale steel helmet with liner by Westinghouse

Description

Nearly unworn mid war M1 steel helmet in excellent condition. Liner is in perfect condition and is maker marked by with the firm logo of Westinghouse. Outside shows the name and rank of Corporal Mc Alonan. The helmet is complete with all straps. Based on the construction I would say it was made in 1943. Heat stamp 900 (or 600…). The curved brim and oval seams are typical for the manufacturer of McCord.  A beautiful mid-war American steel helmet in perfect condition!
