Waffen-SS officer visor cap made in occupied Belgium

Here we have – in my opinion – Waffen-SS visor that was made in foreign territories. A very well constructed cap in gabardine cloth with white officer piping and black wool band around the middle. The cap is complete with a typical ‘Belgian’ (or Flemish) made SS skull (attached with one prong!). There are holes from previous insignia visible, in my opinion from post war theatre use. Above a very solid and good looking visor cap eagle is firmly in place, zinc made example with prongs and silver finish intact. The interior shows modest wear and show typical Belgian manufacturing with the purple liner. Sweat band shows damages, see pictures. Size marked 57 on the tag. The cap has a nice crusher shape, look and feel. A very nice Waffen-SS visor that would look great on a mannequin or
