Wehrmacht shovel carrier in tan colored leather 1944

Description

Desirable and seldom seen entrenching-tool (E-tool, shovel) holder/carrier executed in tan colored leather, with brown leather loops and buckle strap and a black closing strap. The buckle strap shows a small repair. Maker marked by ‘e??’ dated 1944 (I deem). Also has a ink Waffenamt stamp and the soldiers name written on it. Shows light wear. Leather is still supple.
