WW1 M16 German ‘GI art – Mimikri’ camouflage souvenir helmet

German World War One M16 pattern camouflage helmet. This is a classic so called USA GI-art helmet. The helmets got painted in German Mimikri camouflage for the returning soldiers as souvenir – hence the iron cross on the front to make it more souvenir-like. The helmet still retains the full camouflage scheme, that shows ageing. The genuine liner remains present and split pins are untouched. A genuine world war one ‘souvenir’ helmet in very good condition – hard to find nowadays!
