Algemeine SS RZM visor cap ‘Dienstmütze’ by Max Wenger 1935

Description

Stunning black Algemeine SS visor cap in very good condition. Complete with original SS skull ‘Totenkopf’ on the front being an early piece executed in Cupal and made by Deshler. The eagle is a quality reproduction, that could be easily replaced. The visor cap shows a small damage on the rear (see pictures) but besides that it is a quality cap in good condition. The inside is complete with golden SS runes under the sweat diamond. The black label is complete and reads; Von Reichsführer SS befohlene Ausführung. Under the sweat band an early white based RZM label is visible showing the type of headgear ‘SS Dienstmütze’ and the maker mark 45 (= Max Wenger, Gumbinnen). The reverse of the sweatband is marked GE/35 (1935). A beautiful visor cap!
