Genuine and well preserved artillery officer cap. The cap shows modest wear and has a great look. The original national insignia period placed on the front of the cap, the cocarde is a classic ‘vented’ example, typical for the manufacturer of this cap. Maker marked by the desirable and rare maker Erel, in ‘Extra’ quality, being the best available visors for officers to buy. Front of the sweatband is period ‘reinforced’ to stop the wind blowing trough the vent hole (funny, because this was the purpose of a Erel cap in the first way). No major damages, some small moth holes, al shown on the pictures. Excellent cap, with a sexy saddle shape by a famous maker!
