Army (Heer) ‘Afrikakorps’ tropical pith helmet marked ‘Cowboy hat R’ 1942

Good looking nearly unissued tropical pith helmet. Complete with both decal-shields and chin strap. Unusual and rare maker mark being a man wearing a cowboy hat and marked R, dated 1942 and size marked 57. Leather sweatband shows a stamp ‘Germany’, this is post war added most likely by a museum. A very nice pith helmet by a rarely seen manufacturer.
