Army (Heer) artillery officer visor cap by LLD

Description

Genuine and well preserved artillery officer cap in good condition. Retains its vivid colors and bright red piping. Has a set of original national insignia period placed on the front of the cap. Maker marked by the firm LLD (if I read correctly). The cap remains void of damages, but is a bit out of shape. However using a hat spanner, as we did in the pictures (not included) will make the visor shape up nice again. I found the visor recently in Germany, and it belonged to the brother of a Knight Cross bearer, the original article is still inside.
