Army (Heer) Infanterie-Regiment 61 officer ‘Waffenrock’ dress tunic

Description

Stunning and well preserved Waffenrock for officers with white branch color for an officer of the German infantry. The tunic is complete with all of its original insignia, period sewn on the garment. Besides some small stains the jacket remains void of damages or defects. The tunic still holds it’s ‘Adjutantenschnur’ or officer aiguillette. On the left breast a ribbon bar is still present. The shoulder boards indiacte this was an officer with the rank of Hauptmann (Captain) within the reserve of Infanterie-Regiment 63. this tunic would make a great display!
