Army (Heer) officer field blouse and visor cap from reconnaissance ‘Aufklärungs-Abteilung 18’ with Tank Destruction Badge

A very nice set ‘as found’ in Germany a few years ago;

German officer mid-war constructed field blouse having yellow/gold piped insignia for a Leutnant of Aufklärungs-Abteilung 18. The jacket is complete with its original applied insignia. On the sleeve an original German tank destruction badge in silver is applied. Because of the ugly stitching I would actually believe this is period done, but there is no way to proove it. The badge is original and this would be the most important thing here. The jacket is light worn and remains void of damages.

Included is from the same soldier his genuine Kavallerie/Reconnaissance visor cap, made by Erel and worn as a ‘crusher’ cap. Remains in good conditon, complete with original insignia attached.
