Description

A very nice so called ‘geschönte feldbluse’ which would be a dress uniform looking like a combat uniform. Like this officers showed they were ‘one of them’, having seen the front as a soldier. The Jacket is a classic 4 pocket officer tunic, with added gold piping on the edges and having dress type-collar tabs. The tunic is intended for a Oberleutnant of Reiter-Regiment 2 (later became Panzer-Regiment 24). The tunic has a tailor label inside from Carl Weyers in Köln. Complete with all of its original applied insignia. The tunic is named as well and dated 1938. The wound badge is not part of this sale! German Cross award loops might have been added post war, all other loops are genuine war time applied. A beautiful officers tunic!
