Army (Heer) Panzer beret by G.A. Hoffmann 1938

Description

Extremely rare and desirable genuine early produced iconic army Panzer beret in excellent, worn, condition. Original and period hand applied insignia up front, stitching of the cocarde is somewhat loose on the right side. Inner crash helmet is complete with rubber vent holes (a few missing, and a few I still have in a seperate bag) and shows a bit of mothing. It is maker marked by G.A. Hoffmann, Berlin, ‘Meisterklasse’. Dated on the reverse of the sweatband 1938 and size marked 57. Overal very good condition. A stunning centerpiece for any collection!
