British MKII paratrooper helmet by BMB 1944 named

Description

Genuine British airborne (Paratrooper) helmet. The paint of the helmet looks like it has been repainted once, this looks period done, as it was done so in order to the soldiers-manual to keep the helmet from rusting. Comes with a a nice original camouflage net. The helmet is complete with its original liner and webbing chinstraps, the chin cup is complete with chamois lining. The size ‘7’ liner is nicely maker marked ‘BMB’ indicating production by the ‘Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd.’, the liner is dated 1944. A name is also present, this might be interesting for a research! The helmet is showing normal traces of usage. Nice original 1944 dated British airborne helmet which will be perfect for a WW2 display!
