Genuine unissed and MINT volunteer shield for members of the Dutch (Nederland) Waffen-SS, as worn by members of the 34. SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Division Landstorm Nederland and 23. SS Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division Nederland (niederländische Nr. 1). This example is a so called ‘Dachau’ produced example, as these were made in the concentration camps of Dachau and were taken in bulk as souvenirs by American soldiers during the liberation. Hard to find a genuine Dutch Waffen-SS shield like this today!
