Early army (Heer) signals officer visor cap by Joh. Klements, Insterburg

Description

Very attractive and early constructed army visor cap with lemon yellow piping for an officer of a Nachrichten-Abteilung (Signals). This is actually a very rare branch color amougst visor caps. Even better is the manufacturer, one I have never seen or encounterd before; Joh. Klements, Hindenburgstrasse 87 in Insterburg (A very instering town, now part of Russia (Chernyakhovsk). The visor is complete with its early national insignia pierced on the front of the cap, bot executed in early Buntmetall, showing matching patina. The visor has a nice saddle shape and shows normal wear. There are no visible moth damages. Two of the three initials of the former owner are also still attached on the leather sweat band. A very nice Schirmmütze in great shape!
