Early M33 SS dagger by Gottlieb Hammesfahr with partially removed Röhm inscription

Untouched out of the woodwork M33 pattern black colored SS dagger in good condition. The SS dagger is an early example with nickel parts and has roman number III on the cross guard. The blade is stunning and maker marked by Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen-Foche. The front of the blade shows the SS motto Meine Ehre heist Treue, etched on it. This is a special dagger because the Röhm dedication was not factory grounded but it was self-done and as you can see a large piece of the text remains visible! Early ‘fat’ SS logo on top and high detailed eagle, both are nicely sunk into the ebony wood. Solid early SS dagger with no remarks, a true investment piece that looks great! Comes with its rare prototype vertical dagger!
