Early short M31 gas mask canister with straps and mask by GFN 1937

Description

Light worn canister complete with straps. Complete gas mask is still present. Soldier ID number 1033t is present on the side. Perfect for display on a mannequin. Rubber protectors on the straps are stiff and hard, but still show maker markings. Maker marked inside by GFN, dated 1937. Extra rubber padding was added to close the mask from air – a smart move by the previous owner! Complete with spring and spare glasses.
