Gebirgsjäger officer ‘Bergmütze’ in summer HBT cloth

Unissued and MINT Gebirgsjäger officer Bergmütze executed in HBT (herring bone twill) cloth. Seldom seen variant and very desriable. Untouched piece that was located in Austria a few months ago together with a SS plane three smock and tropical army clothing. The cap has its period applied T-shape BeVo eagle up front and and an edelweiss ‘Gebirgsjäger’ badge attached to the side. The lining shows no wear and is complete with its full leather sweat band. An extremely rare cap!
