Army infantry EM/NCO visor cap ‘Schirmmütze’ in gabardine by Deutsche Wertarbeit

Description

Hard to find infantry visor executed in gabardine cloth. The visor shows nice ageing and patina and is complete with its national insignia up front. The eagle is broken but still firmly attached, I left it ‘as found’. Some small moth damaged in the dark green felt cloth. The cap retains is beautiful saddle shape and would look great on a combat ‘Unteroffizier’ display. Maker marked inside by ‘Deutsche Wertartbeit’.
