K98 bayonet by agv – jwh 1944

Description

Beautiful mismatched K98 bayonet in good condition. Scabbard retains its genuine finish and is maker marked by jwh (Staatliche Waffenfabrik, Chatellerault, France) dated 1944. The bayonet itself is a light worn example by agv (Berg & Co., Solingen-Ohligs) also dated 1944 and retaining a well preserved blade. A great K98 bayonet, both parts made in 1944 and therefor possible to be together since the war!
