Kriegsmarine aluminum belt buckle by Richard Sieper & Söhne

Nicely worn aluminum KM belt buckle, complete with leather tab. Maker marked on the reverse by R.S.&S. (Richard Sieper & Söhne, Lüdenscheid). The leather tab still shows the date 1937 and is marked by E.Schneider, Lüdenscheid – therefor we can conclude the tab was restored to this buckle at one point as the manufacturer does not matches with the buckle. So basically a nice aluminum Kriegsmarine buckle and an original leather tab, but they don’t belong together.
